Trim/Slit
Many products are molding into a pad form, and then trimmed to produce the individual product. This allows a lower piece price and larger production volume. We have several pieces of equipment in house that have been developed specifically for these processes, including our Index Trimmer.

Many products, such as septum and duckbills are required to be slit. Similar processes can be used to slit the product using a knife or tear a molded web in the product. Often the slitting and trimming can be incorporated into the same operation to improve slit registration and overall production rate.
